The Cherry Tree
9 Oundle Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
It is a two-storey inn. It is white painted with dark red shutters. This pub is of an early Victorian style. Despite its small size, a regiment of ghosts with phantoms appears to haunt it. One is a wicked little poltergeist throwing items from shelves with smashing glasses during the night. There is a man wearing 19th century clothing. Two women in long, green Victorian style dresses also haunts it. It is away from the centre of Peterborough. Its name could derive from a cherry tree orchard. These abounded throughout the county or it may have been one single tree.
