Narborough Arms
6 Coventry Road, Narborough
Part of this four centuries old inn has external black beaming on a white painted wall. At one time, it was either a church or a local monastery. Therefore, it is apt that someone from a religious background is haunting it. When this ghost appears, he is dressed in a long black habit. He then dissolves into a white mist and vanishes through a wall. There is a second ghost, seen less often, wearing a shroud wrapped tightly around its body. Not too far away is the site of the Battle of Bosworth where in 1485 many died during the short conflict. Witnesses have seen their ghosts dressed in torn and dirty uniforms rising above the ground where fell. They also hear them weeping.
