Crown Inn
Church Street, Beeston, Nottinghamshire
If a cavalier phantom were going to take up residence at an inn, it would have to be in this pub. witnesses see him, haunting the Crown Inn over many years wearing a plumed hat, cloak and he has a small pointed beard. At this pub is the smallest and oldest serving bar in the county. This pub dates from the time when it was a cottage alehouse before becoming the Crown in the 1830s, when it was bought by a retired army captain.
