Not a lot seems to happen in Brimington although the village appears to have been around since 1086. It was then known as Brimintune, an estate associated with a man called Breme. However, there is occasional excitement at the Ringwood Hall Hotel when their resident ghosts appear. On many occasions a group of phantom men has been seen playing snooker in the hotel. If someone enters the room they look up, look at each other and then disappear through a wall.
