With excellent food, a carvery and it’s own brand of ale, Nag’s Ale 1577, the Old Nag’s Head has much to recommend it. It also has a reputation for ghosts. During World War II the Hikers’ Bar doubled as a morgue for stricken pilots and staff members have been seeing shadows in this area for some time.
