A very sad story lies behind the little phantom that haunts the Red Lion. Following the appearance of the ghost of a boy and the sound of strange voices, the proprietor invited a paranormal investigative team to explore the phenomenon. That psychic panel stayed overnight and made contact with a young boy wearing old-fashioned breeches and a flat cap. He advised them that he had arrived alone at the Red Lion by train in the 1890s. Through a medium, he explained that now an unknown entity was holding him here and not allowing him to pass over. While they were assessing the building for other presences, the ghost team made a further discovery. An elderly man wearing a grey suit haunts one bedroom and a bar.
