I am writing a history book about WILLIAM BURKE and William Hare, both born in Northern Ireland. Burke and Hare the 'body-snatchers' who killed 16 people in Edinburgh in 1827-28, William Burke was born in the Parish of Urney, his first wife came from Castlebar in County Mayo, he was born in 1795, [executed in Edinburgh January 1829] his father was a Niel Burke, probably from Urney as well, William also had a brother Constantine Burke with his wife Elizabeth Burke [Graham] and two boys also living in Edinburgh.
